Car rental questions, answered.
36 questions we are asked most often about renting a car in Kuala Lumpur — booking, payment, deposits, insurance excess, documents, delivery, mileage, accidents and cancellation. Everything here matches our terms & conditions.
Booking & payment
How do I book a car?+
Open any car page, fill in the booking form with your dates, times and locations, and send it. WhatsApp opens with your booking summary and booking number already filled in, and we reply with confirmation. You can also message us on WhatsApp at +6010 562 1195 directly.
How far in advance can I book?+
- 1 week ahead for a 1 to 2 day rental.
- 3 months ahead for rentals of 3 days and above.
- 6 months ahead for rentals of 7 days and above.
How can I pay, and is there a card fee?+
Full advance payment locks in your car and dates. We confirm the booking on WhatsApp with a payment link.
Do longer rentals cost less?+
The rental must meet the package length in a single continuous booking. Discounts apply to the daily rental rate only — not to delivery fees, child seats, excess reduction, fuel, tolls, summonses, surcharges or the security deposit.
Are child seats available?+
Yes. Infant, child and booster seats covering ages 0 to 11 are RM10 per day each, on request when you book.
Is there a surcharge for very early or very late handovers?+
Yes. Pick-ups or returns between 12:00am and 6:30am carry a RM50 surcharge per leg.
Deposit & excess
How much is the security deposit?+
The exact deposit for each car is shown on its car page.
When do I get the deposit back?+
Within 5 to 10 days of the return date, by bank transfer, provided there are no summonses, tolls or damage outstanding. The deposit covers costs that only surface after the car comes back: damage, traffic summonses, tolls and fuel top-ups.
What is the insurance excess on each car?+
Every rate includes standard excess-liability insurance, so the most you pay toward repairs is the excess — never the full repair cost.
What does excess reduction cost and what does it do?+
Optional excess reduction (CDW/LDW) halves your standard excess for a daily fee of RM20 to RM100 per day depending on the car. The reduced figure is the most you would pay toward repairs after an at-fault accident, and it is the same figure shown in the booking form on each car page.
What if the repair costs less than my excess?+
You pay only the actual repair cost. The excess is a cap, not a fixed charge. Insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence.
Is smoking in the car penalised?+
Yes. Smoking inside the vehicle carries a RM200 penalty.

Is delivery in KL and PJ really free?+
Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya are RM30 per way, and both legs are free once your rental reaches 3 days.
How much is delivery to KLIA or KLIA2?+
KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are both RM70 per way, free on rentals of 7 days or more. We hand the car over at the arrivals kerb of your terminal — there is no counter and no shuttle to an off-site depot.
Can I return the car to a different place from where I collected it?+
Yes — the booking form takes a separate return location, and the fee for that zone applies to the return leg in the same way as the delivery leg.
Fuel, mileage & tolls
Is there a mileage limit?+
What happens if I drive past the allowance?+
Distance beyond the allowance is charged at the excess-mileage rate shown on each car page, which runs from RM0.20 to RM1.50 per km depending on the model.
What is the fuel policy?+
Fuel is handed over and returned at the same level. Fuel top-ups are one of the costs settled from the security deposit if the car comes back short.
Who pays for tolls and traffic summonses?+
You do. Tolls and any traffic summonses issued during your rental are settled from the security deposit if they are still outstanding when the car is returned.
Is there a speed limit on your cars?+
We do not cap our cars at any speed, but driving above 120km/h may cost you the security deposit and earn you a summons. Please obey Malaysian road and transport law.
Extensions & early return
Can I extend my rental?+
Yes. Tell us 2 to 3 days ahead and settle payment before the extra days begin. Extra days are charged at the package rate if the car is still available, otherwise at the standard rate.
What happens if I return the car early?+
Early returns are non-refundable. The package discount is also recalculated against the days actually used, so the package may no longer apply.
Accidents & repairs
What should I do after an accident?+
Make a police report immediately, whether or not it was your fault. Record the names, ID or passport numbers, phone numbers and vehicle plates of everyone involved, and call us.
What will I be charged for damage?+
Repairs are charged up to your excess. Replacement parts are new and original; costs vary by model and exclude vehicle downtime.
Is help available if something goes wrong on the road?+
Yes. Every rate includes 24-hour road assistance, anywhere in the Klang Valley.
Is every car insured?+
Yes. Every car in our fleet is fully insured with valid road documentation, and insurance and road tax are included in the rate.
Cancellation & refunds
What is the cancellation policy?+
Cancellations on public holidays, early returns, or last-minute cancellations.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the rental date.
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the rental date.
Will my deposit be refunded if I cancel?+
