We cover the whole of Petaling Jaya at RM30 per way — Damansara Uptown, SS2, Section 14, Kelana Jaya, Bandar Utama, Tropicana and the PJS sections included. Delivery and collection are free once your rental reaches three days, which is why most PJ bookings run three days or longer.

Our Bandar Sunway branch is the free alternative. It is on the BRT Sunway Line and minutes from the Federal Highway, so collection is straightforward from most of PJ.

What PJ renters book

PJ is our busiest Selangor market and the mix is broad: weekday corporate rentals around Section 13 and Jaya One, family SUVs and MPVs in the residential sections, and a steady flow of monthly packages from residents between cars.

Because PJ is spread out and the public transport coverage is patchy away from the LRT corridor, long rentals make the most sense here. At 14 days the rate drops 20%, at 21 days 35%, and at 30 days or more 55% with 4,000 km included.

Typical trips from Petaling Jaya

School runs, office commutes and weekend mall trips make up most PJ mileage — the Myvi AV and Ativa AV are the two most booked cars.

For trips to Klang, Shah Alam or Port Klang, anything in the fleet is comfortable; the Federal Highway and Guthrie Corridor make it quick.

Heading out of state, Ipoh is about two and a half hours and Penang four and a half. The X70 Premium and CR-V V are the usual family choices.

If you are new to driving in PJ, two things are worth knowing. The LDP and the Federal Highway both queue badly from 7am and again from 5pm, so a 20-minute hop can become 50. And most PJ malls charge for parking by the hour with a flat evening rate — keep a Touch 'n Go card in the car, since several car parks no longer take cash.
